there are officers posted alonge the street.the we also ran into some tourists today who were from the massachusetts area.. we first ran into a woman who came from greenfield, mass marc massachusetts, she just wast shocked and wondered out loud why people would do somethingsog like. that she just didn't understand if they were trying to send out a signal or a message about something. she didn't get what their thei message was.s. we also talked to a family fromm the boston area, and they were e just shocked about what happened, because they had had friends who were at the th marathon. they were not participating as runners, but they were attending the event and they were close t the finish line. line. they actually took a picture pit right after that explosion which they e-mail to their friends. that must have happened before o cell service in the boston areaa was shutdown.

and that -- this is what it turned into. all of those streets were re blocked off as you know and to see those explosions and they ty did a heck avenue i job, i willl tell you that, they moved those barricades down and they got thg into those streets and they goty in the emergency personnel in there. and like you made ts -- an an excellent point. all of these doctors and nursesu all of these people are there te make sure that they're taking th care of the marathon runners and then it turns.thent tu and the triage, turned into to something horrific. >> they did talk about that, in fact, the doctor at brigham and women's said that the emts on es the scene were extraordinary inn their efforts to get the injured to the hospitals in the area. tufts, mgh and brigham and women's tried to handle the influx of these patients with severe, severe injuries in many cases. we have a person who ran the e marathon and we're going to hear from them now and get that perspective. >> this is the fee sa fiancé ofa
